A Letter from Dr. Mindi Lunday
Licensed Psychotherapist & Complex Trauma Specialist
Ed.D., M.A., M.A., LMHC-S, LPC
As a licensed psychotherapist specializing in complex trauma, I am honored to support this retreat. I have carefully reviewed these materials and wholeheartedly believe they will provide women with biblical truth, practical insight, and hope as they navigate some of life's most difficult circumstances.
I am genuinely excited about this retreat, the workbook, and the truth it will bring to God's daughters. Jesus loves you deeply and desires a life marked by peace, freedom, healing, and joy. Too often, those gifts are overshadowed by unhealthy relationships that leave women feeling confused, discouraged, emotionally exhausted, and questioning their worth. My prayer is that this retreat will help you see your circumstances more clearly, experience God's presence more deeply, and begin moving toward the healing He desires for you.
Over the years, I have worked with many women whose emotional pain, confusion, anxiety, and hopelessness were rooted in unhealthy relationship patterns they did not fully understand. Trauma has a way of distorting our thinking, stealing our peace, and convincing us that we are powerless to change our circumstances. But the good news is that healing is possible. God designed our minds and bodies with an incredible capacity to heal, and through His truth, wise support, and intentional work, restoration can begin.
As you walk through this retreat, I encourage you to prayerfully seek the Lord's wisdom and discernment regarding your unique situation. Be mindful that the enemy is the author of lies and often uses fear, shame, confusion, and trauma to keep us bound. But Jesus has already secured the victory. Through His death and resurrection, He has overcome every scheme of the enemy. As you seek truth, healing, and a deeper relationship with Christ, my prayer is that He will replace confusion with clarity, fear with peace, and hopelessness with confident hope in His faithfulness.
"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you." (Isaiah 26:3)
